We are seeking a suitably qualified and ideally experienced IB Diploma Programme Coordinator (DPC) to coordinate the DP in the Secondary School. The DPC role at BISS is unique in nature, with a wide range of responsibilities. In addition to teaching select classes and coordinating the DP, the DPC works closely with the Secondary School Principal on tasks such as (but not limited to) scheduling, pastoral care, faculty PD (both organising and giving training), and leading curriculum and programme development in the DP and secondary school. The DPC is also a contributing member of the Administrative Management Team, the main decision-making body for academic operations.

Required and Preferred Qualifications & Experiences:
Teaching qualifications and appropriate certification/licensure (required); MA degree (preferred)
5+ years of relevant teaching experience (required), with international school experience (preferred)
Successful DP teaching and teacher-leader experiences, and IB training (required); prior IB coordinator experience (preferred)
A high level of professional proficiency in written and oral English, with intelligent communications skills and effective
leadership and people skills (required)
A positive, pro-active, reliable and collaborative nature with strong organization skills (required)

Beijing BISS International School was founded in 1994 by its sister school, ISS International School in Singapore, as an independent proprietary, co-educational, English-language day school offering an international curriculum for Pre-Kindergarten - Grade 12 students from the expatriate community of Beijing. The 11,000 square meter campus is conveniently located near major expatriate residential areas in central Beijing, located just of the North of Third Ring Road, close to the Olympic Games Village.
