We are seeking a suitably qualified and ideally experienced K-12 Counsellor to provide counselling support in the Elementary & Secondary Schools, and college guidance to students in the Upper Secondary School. The appointment provides competitive salary, terms, conditions and benefits, commensurate with the applicant’s qualifications and experience.
 
 
 
Required and Preferred Qualifications & Experiences:
 
 
 
  Teaching qualifications and appropriate certification/licensure (required)
 
  3+ years of relevant experience (required), preferably with international school experience
 
  IB experience (preferred)
 
  A high level of professional proficiency in spoken and written English (required)
 
  A positive, pro-active, reliable and collaborative nature with strong organization skills (required)

The ideal candidate enjoys working with children and has a personality reflecting the demands of the school counselling profession (patience, understanding, care, etc.). He or she will possess a high level of content knowledge for their subject, have a wide repertoire of contemporary strategies (including use of technology), and well-developed student management skills based on mutual respect.
